Remanence (Br)Residual magnetic flux density after removing the external field.
Intrinsic coercivity (Hcj)Field strength required to reduce magnetization to zero.
BHmaxMaximum amount of magnetic energy stored in a magnet.
Working temperature (Tw)Highest temperature at which a magnet operates while maintaining its performance.
Curie temperature (Tc)Point above which a ferromagnetic material becomes paramagnetic.
Grain boundary diffusion (GBD)Process where Dy/Tb diffuse along grain boundaries to improve coercivity.
SinteringHeat treatment at ~1100°C that densifies compacted powder into a solid body.
VCMVoice coil motor, used in hard drives and camera autofocus.
PMGPermanent magnet generator, used in direct-drive wind turbines.
